    Sunday Catchup 19th – 25th September
    S

This week I’ve read one book, so quite disappointing but everyone has good weeks and bad weeks (and this is better than some of my terrible weeks), however my mystery book club book is Me Before You, so should be able to fly through that this week.

    Read Last Week

Viv arrives at Wildflower Cottage, a tumbledown animal sanctuary, for the summer. Her job is to help with the admin, but the truth is she is here for something much closer to her heart…

Geraldine runs the Wildflower Cottage sanctuary. She escaped from her past to find happiness here, but now her place of refuge is about to come under threat. Can she keep her history at bay and her future safe?

Despite taking an age to read this, I really enjoyed it. Definitely tempts me to binge-read all of Milly’s past novels in one marathon.

    Reading This Week

When Ellen starts dating Tom, she neglects to mention that she’s a huge fan of the band he used to be in, because that just wouldn’t be cool, would it?

Ellen also keeps quiet about how she once spent an evening with Tom’s ex-best friend Jasper, her long-term celebrity crush. Tom doesn’t need to know about that, it’s all in the past.

Sadly I didn’t get round to this book last week, started it, but am less than a chapter in. Enjoying it so far though!

Lou Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus stop and home. She knows she likes working in The Buttered Bun tea shop and she knows she might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn’t know is she’s about to lose her job or that knowing what’s coming is what keeps her sane.

Will Traynor knows his motorcycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how he’s going to put a stop to that.

What Will doesn’t know is that Lou is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And neither of them knows they’re going to change the other for all time.

This months book club choice was my favourite book ‘Me Before You’. There was a choice of four books (that this month, I selected) and this was the one voted for by the other members. I’m a sucker for punishment, what can I say?!
