    My Goals for 2019
    M

So 2018 is over and for me at least it flew by. Despite a bumpy start, overall it was a pretty good year. I feel in a better place now and so I want to continue on the positivity I’m feeling so have set some goals for the next year.

    Lose Weight
This is obviously one of the most popular resolutions to make, and has been on my list before. In 2018 though, I think I’ve found something that works for me and have already lost some weight and I want to continue the momentum, and for once I’m feeling positive that I can.

    Try More Recipes
I generally enjoy cooking, and often try new recipes, but I want to try more, and I am looking forward to try and adapt recipes to fit my healthier eating regime. I also want to try more recipes that I would normally find daunting to really challenge myself.

For me, 2018 was the year of the audiobook. I managed almost as many audiobooks as ‘normal’ books, thanks to my daily walks. This year I want to keep that up, but I would love to read more from my kindle/paperback/hardback collection. Ideally I want to get up to 80 or so books that I used to read a year. I think being able to read infront of the TV would help massively, which currently I find unexplainably difficult. Does anyone have any tips?

    Blog More
This blog has been pretty meh since late 2016. I want this year to be the year I get my butt in gear and get this blog back to something I can be proud of. At least 1 post a week is my initial target, which I realise doesn’t sound a lot, but I think it’s a good start and to get back where I want to be, and I can then aim to do more. I also want to write reviews for every single book I read, some reviews may be shorter than others, but at least I will be writing again. This also includes re-starting my food blog up again, in theory helping me with my weight loss and recipe goals at the same time. Hopefully I will manage more than the paltry 2 posts total that is currently on there.

    Be More Productive
I think I could be crowned as the queen of procrastination and I want to end my reign. I plan to limit my non productive screen time and spend my personal time doing things that I feel are more productive. I want to craft more, read more, blog more, complete all the video games that I want to play rather than pointlessly trawling forums and other things that I do far too much of.
