So a New Year is upon us and I am starting my monthly challenge of 8 books again, so here are the 8 I have chosen for this month.

A Song For Tomorrow by Alice Peterson
I’ve been wanting to read this one for a few months, but it seems a very emotional book and I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to read it. However I think now is the time to give this book a proper go as it sounds like a must read!

My Sweet Revenge by Jane Fallon
I love Jane Fallon’s books and this one sounds as wonderful as the cake on the front looks.

Meet Me At Beachcomber Bay by Jill Mansell
Set in picturesque cornwall, I’ve not read a Jill Mansell book in ages, so this is there perfect opportunity.

We Come Apart by Sarah Crossan and Brian Conaghan
I’ve heard excellent things about Sarah Crossan’s last book ‘One’ so was excited when I saw this book, and can’t wait to read it.

The Memory Book by Lara Avery
This sounds really interesting and poignant. I’ve read the first chapter and it was completely amazing, so I have high hopes for the rest of the book.

A Year And A Day by Isabelle Broom
I’m going to Prague at the end of the month, so was hanging onto this book until January so I could get properly in the spirit.

How To Mend A Broken Heart by Anna Mansell
The cover for this looks really pretty and the story sounds delicate and beautiful.

Miss Wrong and Mr Right by Robert Bryndza
This book looks like it might be really funny, and that might be just what I need as a few of these books look like I’ll be reaching for the tissues!
