    Sunday Catchup – 20th June – 3rd July
    S

Once again I have had a poor couple of weeks of reading, so I have wrapped the two weeks into one. I really hope I can find my groove again, if only to at least reach my goodreads goal, which was only to equal last years total!!

    Read This Week:

After witnessing the fallout of her parent’s divorce, love has never been a priority for garden designer Frankie Cole. The only man in her life is her friend Matt–but that’s strictly platonic. If only she found it easier to ignore the way he makes her heart race…

Matt Walker has loved Frankie for years but, has always played it cool. Until he uncovers new depths to the girl he’s known forever, and doesn’t want to wait a moment longer.

Matt knows Frankie has secrets and has buried them deep, but can he persuade her to kiss him under the Manhattan sunset?

I liked this book, however it was a surprise how much I disliked Eadlyn, and while this didn’t ruin the book for me as I still enjoyed it, I was somewhat shocked as I loved her mother America in the first three books.

    Currently Reading:

I have been in my usual state of wanting to read all the books at once, I have however finally chosen one.

Henry and Zoe have more in common than they realise. For a start, they both have pasts they’d rather leave behind.

After jilting his childhood sweetheart on the eve of their wedding, Henry makes a break for London. He has no friends, no job, no home, no plan.

Zoe has great friends, two jobs, a new house, and a big scary plan. After a traumatic, life-changing event, she plans to leave London and spend a year travelling. Alone.
If Henry and Zoe had met one year ago, things might have worked out differently. But that s not the way life works. They meet seven months after their worlds have been turned upside down. And four months before Zoe is due to climb on a plane…

I loved Andy Jones’ first book ‘The Two of Us’, so was looking forward to his follow up and a chapter in and I’m looking forward to continuing with this one!

    Next Week’s Reads:

When she was almost seventeen, Rosie Draper locked eyes with a charismatic student called Peter during their first week at art college, changing the course of her life forever. Now, on the cusp of sixty-five and recently widowed, Rosie is slowly coming to terms with a new future. And after a chance encounter with Peter, forty-seven years later, they both begin to wonder ‘what if’ . . .

I’ve not read a book by Sue Watson, though as normal, I have a couple waiting on my kindle. This one seems emotional and romantic, just a lovely charming read. I am looking forward to reading this one for sure!

    Book Haul

I have been wondering if to do a book haul on my catchups or not. I don’t want to seem boats, I realise I am incredibly lucky to receive books from publishers and have enough money to buy my own. On the other hand, I enjoy watching them on youtube and seeing what other bloggers have bought, so have decided to include my own. Please do let me know if you enjoy it or not!
